How It Is Installed

  1. Foundation (Civil Work): A concrete pit (1ft x 1ft x 2ft) is dug, and foundation bolts (J-Bolts) are grouted with cement. This needs to cure for 3-4 days.
  2. Pole Erection: A Galvanized Iron (GI) pole, typically 4 to 6 meters high, is mounted on the foundation bolts.
  3. Light Mounting: The solar light unit (or panel + light) is fixed to the top arm of the pole.
  4. Orientation: The solar panel is oriented towards the South to capture maximum sunlight throughout the day.

Site Requirements

  • Shadow-Free Area

    The location must receive direct sunlight from 9 AM to 4 PM. Avoid installing under trees or tall buildings.

  • Pole Height & Spacing

    Recommended Height: 5 Meters.
    Recommended Distance between poles: 15 to 20 Meters for uniform lighting.

  • Backup Expectation

    Our lights provide 12-18 hours of backup. Motion sensors help extend this to 2 nights during cloudy weather.
